Frequently Asked Questions

  • What kinds of videos do you make?

Lots of different kinds. We make scripted 30-second TV spots and feature-length documentaries – and pretty much anything in between. We make more short docs than anything else.

  • What kind of clients do you prefer?

We work with clients from small nonprofits to large companies. Our favorite clients are the ones who bring an outreach challenge or problem to solve and partner with us to find a solution.

  • Why do people choose to work with you?

What we hear more than anything else is that our clients want to reach a wider audience with their mission, passion, and purpose. We get to work with people who are doing incredible things for our environment and the people around them. We also love what we do – which means that more often than not – it's pretty fun make videos with our clients. Budgets and schedules don't scare us either – we're known for not just the creative but delivering on time and on budget.

  • How much does it cost?

Over the course of 10 years, about 800 videos, and 300 clients we have put together a group of very talented professionals who do fantastic work. We bring everything we've got for each project and it costs real money. But since every project is different, there's a wide range of budgets we work with. Typical projects for us can range from 25k to 250k, but we'll certainly work with more.

  • Do you do animations?

We sure do! We do the majority of our work in live action – but animation are a very important tool for explaining things that you can't shoot – maybe it's something that doesn't exist yet, or maybe it's too complex to understand and needs animation to make sure it's simple and easily understood.

  • Can I get access to the footage you shoot for my project?

This is a good one. Short answer – yes! Longer answer – make sure that whoever you work with will let you have access to everything they capture for you. That way, you can work with the footage down the road on future projects (even if you don't hire the person that filmed it). You give us a hard drive and we'll give you the kitchen sink.

  • I'm not sure I have the budget, can we still talk?

You bet! We love to share our process with anyone who will listen. We also do our best to connect you with other creatives who may be a better fit for your project.
